Introducing Invisalign First for Ages 7-12

At Bronte Family Orthodontics, it is not enough to just achieve a beautiful smile—it is important for us to build a healthy, functional bite. It is even more important for us to provide the best possible experience for our patients. Introducing Invisalign First! This treatment style allows us to correct many bite problems at a younger age with a lot less discomfort than traditional phase 1 treatments such as fixed braces or jaw expanders.

This young patient was referred by his dentist with the concern of a crossbite/underbite of his front teeth. His parents were looking for a painless way to correct his bite without jaw expanders or headgear. He was enthusiastic to prove his independence and wore his Invisalign aligners consistently. Within one year, we were able to correct his bite without ever needing Advil or Tylenol.

When we met this patient, he did not have enough room for all four of his front teeth. Rather than waiting for his teeth to crowd and damage his gums, we used Invisalign First to create the necessary space without extracting any teeth. After one year you can see a remarkable improvement in his smile, as well as the position of all four of his front teeth!

Here is another young man who was being teased at school because of his protruding front teeth and overbite. His parents were concerned that he might accidentally damage his teeth while playing sports which would lead to painful and expensive dental work. We agreed to use Invisalign First aligners to bring his front teeth inward. Due to his young age, his teeth moved quickly, and we were able to complete phase 1 treatment with Invisalign First to prepare for a shorter phase 2 treatment.
